Born from a western – oriental clash of ideas and cultures, Testament Collection grasps the essence of all things natural. Starting from the ingredients, all products from our range are hand-crafted using eco-sustainable and ethically sourced ingredients. Everything finely blended in such magical ways… to create sense shifting elixirs.

Balancing on the edge of addictiveness, they feel harmonious and compatible with all kinds of personalities, from tempers fit for poker players on high-rollers to dreamy characters that roam graciously and slide freely from one stance to another.

For us, perfume represents nothing less than the heady and elusive marriage of the essences of herbs and spices, wild grasses and flowers, bark and animal and trees as an engine of the multiverse.

Since 2018 we have taken great pleasure in mixing fragrant substances in lab bottles. We truly believe that fragrance is timeless and universal. Scents are and should be a more powerful force in ritual, medicine, myth, and conquest.

Perfume helps us pray, heal and to make love and war, prepare for death, to create. Because to create, after all, is literally “to breathe in.”

Because of how we chose to source our ingredients and formulate our fragrance creations, our trade routes developed in part around the relentless pursuit of rare perfume ingredients.

The inspiration comes from things such as remote civilizations, caravans, and old ships that are bringing cinnamon from Africa; spikenard and cardamom from India; ginger, nutmeg, saffron, and cloves from Indonesia which we consider too precious to eat, so we take these materials and make them transcend as coveted components of the fragrant mixtures that we use for our creative rituals.

What is life but a marvelous story bathing in momentary bliss, within the fragility of a single breath of air? We breathe in and open our eyes to the world. A new day is dawning, a new destiny carves its way in this world leaving a true legacy. Energy flows naturally, transforming and aiming to inspire before fading away.

For us, fragrances are not just a product, but a way of being part of the world that for centuries retained an aura of magic and mystery. An exclusive but idiosyncratic fraternity, largely self-taught. For us, the master perfumers are the practical and philosophical heirs to the traditions of alchemy, which has as its aim the transformation of physical matter into the divine essence.

We are not keeping our formulas a secret and we do not prefer our potions in magnificent flasks just to a selected few and/or for great sums of money…

The origin of Testament’s Collection fragrance house steams from a real desire to express more about our origins and indeed our evolution towards the people we each are today, through the history of fragrances… because we all have a story to tell and perfumes make no difference.

The structural story of our fragrance collection was created from a head full of love, a heart full of passion and a base full of memories. Aiming to encapsulate this simple life components well known and accessible to all of us as more than just simple words, as a philosophy about how we see fragrances and one that defines a new olfactive style.

Where should I apply my perfume?

Warmth activates perfume. It should therefore ideally be worn on the pulse points. However, perfume can be worn anywhere, for instance in the hair, on clothes or on the nape of the neck.

Why do perfumes smell different on different people?

We each have our own unique body chemistry and when the perfume interacts with our skin a unique fragrance is created.

Both diet and hydration of the skin can also have an effect on the scent.

How long will the perfume last on my skin?

All Testament Lodon™ creations have 30% perfume concentration or above, meaning they are all classified as pure perfume extract. If applied correctly, pure perfume should last for at least 10 hours. If your skin is hydrated it can last longer, +12 hours. The perfume will also last longer when sprayed on clothing in particular on cotton.

How can I make it last as long as possible?

Apply an unscented body lotion/moisturizer before spritzing. Spritz onto the suggested pulse points from your body.
Do not rub your wrists together, the heat generated causes the fragrance to evaporate more quickly.
Carry a 5.ml or 15.ml sized bottle with you to refresh your perfume throughout the day.

What percentage of perfume oil do you use?

To achieve the character and optimal quality of each perfume, we use the highest percentage of perfume oil required. Wherever possible we use the absolute – the highest concentration possible of a perfume. Our perfumes range from 30% to 100% perfume concentration.

Do you test your products on animals?

We do not test our products on animals.

Why are the perfumes so expensive?

We use only the highest quality of ingredients available, which are high in cost owing to their rarity and as a result of the extraction process required to create the fragrance oil.
We also use the highest perfume concentration in all of our perfumes.
